Electric dreams (1984) 09.01.2026 Another film I enjoyed! I watched it today and I really liked the camera work, as well as everything going on with edgar. Seriously from the dream sequence to to the way the objects on his screen moved was mesmerizing! If I'm being honest he really stole the show wow girl who likes old tech likes the computer the most. I also enjoyed Madeline, the movie did a good Job of making her feel like her own person, rather than a object for Miles and Edgar to fight over. Albiet I can't help but wonder where they were going with her and Billy's romance which is happening at the same time Miles is trying to get with her? Than again that's really a nitpick. Look I'll be honest I mostly came in to see why everyone online wants Edgar soo badly, and yeah I get why everyone wants edgar so badly. I dont know how to explain it but at some points it felt like something was missing, I might come back here and add onto this. Also My mom didn't really like it, but she did enjoy Edgar.
miss congeniality (2000) 08.01.2026 First movie of the year, wasn't planning on watching it on but my mom put it on and I decided to join in. I didn't expect much at first it, but I was plesantly supirsed, I'll be honest I expected to see sexists jokes and other things along those lines escpially when my mom told me of the premise of the plot. But I was really happy to say this movie acctually didn't fall into that! It didn't treat the Pagent girls like dumb bimbos and it acctually gave them voices/made them feel like real people. I really liked Hart's development during the film, her realzing she misjuged others and herself. Seeing her stop seeking the validation of her male coworkers and really embrace herself and her friends she made was nice :)! I was spoiled on the twist but I think it's a very good one anyways with a cool setup as well! Also I really liked VIC. Movie would have been better if Hart didn't end up with eric thowould have been perfect is she ended up with Cheryl/lh okay I'm kidding about the lesbain thing hell I think it would have been cooler if she was single at the end but it's okay. Also I forgive em cuz we do have that one scene with the lesbains
